Parker says he chose Bali because it seemed like the furthest thing possible from the realities of the pandemic and English weather. The Universal Pictures production team constructed Balinese-style huts on the beachfront of Long Island's Palm Bay Resort in the Whitsundays which you can see in the photos above. A night at Long Island's resort will set you back around $300, far more affordable when compared to Hayman Island.

That's the defining theme here - everything is OK and nothing stands out. George Clooney and Julia Roberts are great to see on screen and the rest of the cast also play well with what they're given. Worth a watch once if you're bored and you're into romcoms.

“Ticket to Paradise” fails because Parker seems to have vaguely remembered the interpersonal conflict of old Hollywood romantic comedies (talking '40s, not '90s, BTW) and filled the movie with immature, unfunny foolishness with the assumption that we'll find it charming just because of who's on screen.

It definitely depends on the child, not the age of the child and work up. Some 2 years can sit still, some 12 year olds can't. Understanding your child's attention span and abilities is key. Start with smaller concerts geared at younger kids and classical music.

Paradise is also not a great sell for family audiences, thanks to its violence and graphic sexual content.
